A Friend of mine went Home Sunday.......

A friend of mine went to be with the Lord on Sunday...


for those of you saying what? He died.


Well I went by to comfort the family and offer prayer and words of consolation, but when I left hours later, in my quiet times ,

I had to reason it out and come to grip my self with my flesh man of my self. You see when you are by yourself , you fool no one but yourself what's in you comes out .

Your fears, your doubts and your concerns, we are passionate emotional being so when emotional overwhelmed in your quiet times it will come out. Nothing is hidden or held back, your emotions will bring it all to the surface.

The Word of God says when my heart is over whelmed led me to the rock that is higher than I... Jesus is the Rock He is the only way out...Earth has no sorrow heaven can not heal.

I thank God on some level, for the opportunity to take a inventory of myself, to sit and reflect on how really fragile life is. Without Christ in my life I am nothing, I am nothing without Christ.

So At the end of the day

I am not a or someones wife, mother,

auntie, grandma, pharmacy technician, neighbor,

best friend, cousin, BFF, sister, missionary,

usher, minister, evangelist

or any other role

or hat I may wear or desire to wear .......

At the end of the day I am just Christine

a vessel seeking the love, mercy and grace of a loving God called Jesus Christ. My roles , position, status, where I live ,

my sweet mustang car I drive mean nothing to him, so I lay all I have at his feet,

I lay down my hopes, my material possessions, my dreams and aspirations that I may be more like him and less like me!

I am just a vessel that's striving everyday to make a difference in this life,

by showing and manifesting the Love of God in the earth!

Rest in Peace Deacon Eric Coles, you fought a great fight now take your rest in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ .....until we meet again peace!
