God calls you by Name!

God calls you by your Name, no matter what you have gone through,

in your past life, maybe U used to be a player, a drug addict, a drunker, a unfit parent, or even a ex convict ..........maybe even .........................................

a prostitute , a harlot or simply a over confident woman or man of the world....

God still calls you by your name, not by what you used to do wrong in the past.

look at the three Hebrew boys!, when they tried to changed their names what they were really doing was trying to change their identity. Who they really were originally in Christ, you see we are all created in the express image of God,

made from the rich fertile life bearing dirt found in the garden of Eden.....that Christ molded and breathe life into us ,

we were and are created to bring God glory and do his bidding in the earth, pointing to the unsaved people who are hopeless, that salvation in Jesus Christ is our only hope of glory.....

So no matter how low you go down ,

God still remembers you are but clay and still everyday calls your name.......

" Christine, Christine, " when you hear his voice.


Don't send someone else to answer that door bell or knocking,

You answer that door yourself!

What the world casts off, God can still use!

Just thinking about how great God is he is the only one I know that can take a unknown and bring it to the forefront!

Look at Susan Boyle, how a humble, young lady that if you passed on the streets, you wouldn't give her a seconded look, yet when she opened her mouth, all the snickering, teasing, jesting, vulgar comments stopped......her voice, like a songbird stopped all the .........

comments about how she looked ,and how she dressed, she wasn't trendy, just a average girl like you and I just striving to make a difference in our own way.

Let's look at this from another point of view, you see aren't we all just brands plucked out of the fire? You see what the world casts off as nothing!

God still speaks and says " I can use that one, I'll take the worlds casts offs and use them for my glory". I thank the Lord everyday for rescuing me from a life of sin and shame, I thank God for canceling my reservation in hell, and providing me not just a room but a manion in heavenly places.

So the next time you see a stranger, be kind, be gentle you may be entertaining the next prodigy to be brought forth, that through the influence of God , will turn this world upside down........

Susan Boyle, we are so happy for you and wish you well in all your endeavors, thank you for making the world take notice .....

its not always what you look like, but what's in the heart that matters! Thanking God for bring you to the forefront......

the word says " the gifts and callings are without repentance". There are a lot of gifts being exercised in the world,

but without God it is just a gift......temporal at best only for a season, you see only what we do for Christ will be counted,

only what we do for Christ will last....

All you do in words and deeds do it all in the Name of Jesus .

The Time is Now

If you are ever going to love me, Love me now,while I can know. The sweet and tender feelings. Which from true affection flow. Love me now. While I am living. Do not wait until I'am gone. And then have it chiseled in marble, Sweet words on ice-cold stone. If you have tender thoughts of me, Please tell me now. New Evangelist status !

Greetings all! Thank you everyone for your love , prayers and support ! The service was a great success and just seeing all of my love ones, family, co-workers, neighbors, face book friends just made that day much more special! I received so many emails , text messages and phone calls my heart was blessed and inspired to run on even harder for the Lord! I won't name names just too many to name and I don't want to leave anyone out!

My condolences go out to the family of Deacon Carl Barkers, he lost his sister, she was funeralized today, " earth has no sorrow ,heaven can not heal"


The topic of the message was " Go through, that others may have break through" I was amazed at how God moved in and through the message. I listen to the CD the next day and I was like who is that? and my husband said that's you silly! (((Laughing)))

To everyone thank you! may God bless you all richly for all the love and kindness you have shown His handmaiden.....

Just as the Angel changed Jacob's name to Israel, my name was changed to Evangelist Christine Mayo, may I wear it proudly......

knowing Jesus paid the price with His death , burial and resurrection...

today He reigns supreme having all Power in Heaven and Earth!

Long hair vs short hair

Hi , laughing looks like I do a lot of writing at the beauty shop, life is full of hidden stories, if you just take the time to pause and look, observe, and learn.....

in other words be quiet sometimes, and let your surroundings speak to you! At the beauty shop to day they charged me more because my hair is long, they also charge more if your hair is too short.... The lovely young lady told me it is because ,

long or short hair is time consuming, I say that's hog wash, how many people will you get in this day and age with natural long hair? Not many.....

Natural long hair should be rewarded not punishment...the word says your hair is your covering your crown and glory.... Why do I have to cut my hair to get a smaller price?

Its just like in my Job in retail pharmacy, some customer are sweet as pie, then others are like sour as a lemon, with a tart tongue to go with it,

what I am saying is take the long hair with the short hair, charge a nominal fee for the difference in length, but don't be outrageous, because you just want to zip, zip and get to the next head....

just venting......what do you think?

Some women cut it off then buy a long length wig or get a weave...

What's up with that?

Oh well, let me go sit under the dryer for an hour and a half!

Calm When I Goof

Ecclesiastes 10:4: Calmness can lay great errors to rest.

As I left the store I noticed a blinking red light in the parking lot. Soon I realized the police were prying into my car with a coat hanger. Racing to the scene I asked, "What's the problem?"

"This your car?" shouted one policeman, ignoring my question. "You didn't put it in park," accused the other officer. "It rolled back and 'creamed' this van. Besides that, you left your lights on!"

"Shame on you, Joan," I scolded silently. "How stupid! I didn't want to run this errand for my husband anyway." Then I caught myself. "Okay. It isn't my husband's fault. I made a mistake. I wish I had put the car in park and turned off the lights, but I'm human and I goofed."

I drove my car forward in response to the officer's directions. Thanks to sufficient safety bumpers neither vehicle incurred any damage. The policemen smiled sheepishly.

Sometimes I panic and resort to belittling myself (or others) when I'm first faced with a problem or crisis. Perhaps you've experienced this, as well. The good news is: with practice you and I can learn to release our shaming and blaming tendencies and respond in new—and relaxed—ways to each day's diverse situations and unique mistakes. Relief follows.

Lord, help me break my old habit of shaming and blaming. I want to practice calm when I goof up. I need Your help.

Making It Personal: When's the last time you goofed? How did you react? Given an opportunity to respond again, what would you do differently?

I have a great example it just happened on Wednesday nite, I went to a meeting rushing had all my notes and agenda, really excited and pumped up for the meeting, tell the husband goodbye, I drove to the church, Well to make the story short, I am sitting there thing " where is everybody? where is my Missionary Circle" as the minutes ticked it was hm where are they! I whipped out my cell phone and made a call....and to my surprise...I was the one in fault, time ,clocks went back 1(one) hour and I was a hour too early....I had to laugh at my self! Yes , what I would do is promptly change the clocks at the appropriate time and more importantly, " Give the gift of compassion, it's a gift you may need back one day!
