Is your Soul on the Altar?

I had a dream,

I was preaching the Word with fire and authority and as I was delivering the Word, a well meaning child of God came and laid a love offering, on the altar ,

I looked down and the spirit stirred up in me to tell her to not leave a money offering on the alter, but to leave her soul on the altar, leave her prayer request on the altar.

I don't know who started the practice of leaving $ ( money ) on the altar ....but its not biblical, but a tradition of men, a modern day tactic to fleech the people on Sunday morning, come Monday you care nothing about the souls, you don't even check on the sick and shut in.

We need to get back to basics and stop living off the gospel solely for financial gain and ridicule lavish lifestyle, but not caring about the souls that are entrusted to us, Don't fool yourself or even try to justify with a reason or excuse, God will hold us accountable.

Let's start putting God' s agenda ahead of our agenda, its not our Gospel, why are we getting rich off of it and sharing with no one ,

To make it all even worse, no bodies name is on the church roll, no one has been baptized all year, no one has even tarried for the Holy Ghost, yet we fleecing the people with theatrics, Hollywood antics, chicken dinners, and musical concerts to bring in souls, more interested in head count to generate more revenue , than head count to have the opportunity to witness the love of Christ to...

We need to be more sincerely concern about the souls of men, if we bring them a relevant gospel, men, women, boys and girls will repent and give their lives to Jesus. No man or woman comes to church with out their purse or wallet, so the bottom line is this ......

Matthew 6:33 (King James Version)

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you ...........

Strive to get a person saved by the preaching and demonstration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and they'll bring willingly the tithes and offerings into the store house which today is the Church.

remember Church is not a pyramid scam or a get rich opportunity, some ministers, etc never obtain the wealth or stature of any " big name Minister, Prophet, Prophetess, Evangelist, Elder, Bishop, Overseer, Pastor, etc that we have now in modern society".

But are they really Rich in the things of Christ!

" Some folks would rather have houses and land....some folks chose silver and Gold, these things they treasure and forget about their souls, I decided to make Jesus my Choice .......

So the next time you hear a compelling Word from a Man or Woman of God and feel compelled to leave a offering on the Altar, make sure your heart, body and soul is on the Altar first, then leave your offering in the offering plate.

Don't do things to be seen of men, whether you lay your offering in the plate or on the Altar , if you are in Relationship with God is all that really matters !

So in my closing is your all on the altar , or is it just money laying , polluting the altar ?

Keep on Trusting God

At my lowest , at my weakest , I will keep on trusting God listening to Deitrick Haddon playing in the background, oh my does this speak to the inner core of my being....

All I have ever wanted to do is serve God, do all in my physical and spiritual being to further the gospel of Christ...

yet sometimes I still feel overlooked, slighted, my gift feels so dormant, just wanting to break free and be used of God..... in any capacity that brings God glory.

I am even considering the means of radio broadcast ...putting a voice to my writings, pray that a door will be open, and that the broadcast will financially sustain itself, I believe when God calls you to a mission, He provides the provision for the journey.


I understand now how it feels to be overlooked and made to feel like you don't matter, I thank God that when man or woman doesn't recognize the God or the gift in me ......I will still trust God no matter what I go through, He called me not man..... The world, Internet, face book, blogger, yahoo groups will be my platform , I thank God when the Word says , your gift will make room for you so until then I will " stir the gift that is within me "

There are so many people like my self sitting on the sidelines, we all styled as basketball players, we can all play , but the first string gets more play, in the meanwhile I will study ,watch and pray and one day , I will get the ball,

Just like Micheal Jordan sat on the bench for a long time and faced rejection because of his height, but one day after sitting patiently on the bench watching the game, He was call in to play ball and you know the story , he changed the face of basketball forever.........


Church leaderships don't be afraid to use your 2ND string, they may be just what you need to help inject fire, life and passion back into the church, A fresh anointing is what the whole world needs , a fresh anointing is what the church needs as we have become stagnant and mechanically in our worship.

People are tired of gospel that is not relevant, Just as a Minister said Sunday at Church people want a show and tell Jesus........" You say Jesus is Good ? show me by your Life while you tell me what the Word says to me..

Lets pray :

Thank You Jesus for the new anointing of passion you are breathing on the body of Christ all

over this world, thank you for opening our eyes, ears and hearts, touch every soul that reaches

out and calls on your precious name, heal the wounded hearts and spirits, that have been

wounded and left for dead in the house of God, Father restore and bring a fresh purpose to these

people, who love you from a pure heart, bring a spiritual revival, let it begin in the house of God

first then we can begin to effectively affect and effect the world by our lives govern by your

words. Then will the World know we are your disciples by the Love we show to one another.

Amen and Amen...

Prayer for Blended families

Dear God,

This morning I come before you on behalf of blended families. So many families are not the "traditional" family, with one mother, father, and children that come from that union.

Instead, there are stepparents, step-siblings, half-brothers and half-sisters, foster children, parents who have been married more than once, and such a mixture of people from different backgrounds.

This is a difficult life–to blend together and build happy, positive, and healthy relationships. I pray that you will be the center of these families and that Your love will flow down through each and every one, helping them to achieve peace and harmony. In Jesus' name, amen.

God does Great things

God is doing great things in the lives of His people, setting things in order, for His is a God of order.... your life is like a beautiful painting that is being painted.... with Jesus as the Artist and you are the canvas...

The Treasure of Today

The treasure of today

Stop leaving your babies behind

This is written to the the men, but it could also be written to the women also . Please people stop having children you can not commit to... Why is it when the child is born there's so much joy picking out a name and preparing for a life as a family unit .......

Then after a period of time the newness and excitement for some fathers is gone...For some un explain reason or reasons the relationship with the " baby momma" starts to sour, she's gain too much weight having your baby or like my mom, babies and the men start staying out and looking at greener pastures not realizing after while that grass has to be cut too..

( Relationship is more than lip service, or being eye candy but it is Work).

Well here's the problem, its OK to leave momma if that's making you so unhappy, but what about the children? You don't call, visit, some men don't even send child support, they will quit a job first before they will pay.....and some of the ones who do pay have to be court force and then payroll garnishment...this is so shameful!

Then these young kids grow up with a void and a emptiness a feeling of rejection, even though they have the love of the remaining parent, they still look back at the absent parents picture and ask why? Why did you not come back for me?

Why.....then they become adults entering relationships with only one perspective and then have babies and sometimes struggle to close the gap and give your family what you never got, a stable loving home. Sometimes that doesn't work and the cycle starts all over again....

Fathers stop leaving your babies behind, stop sowing your seed, like its a crop, because this ( harvest ) crop only brings and bares bitter and resentful fruit.....

How do I know?

This was once me ......when I was very young in the mind molding stages, my parents had a separation and as time went on a expected divorce later followed , my father was in the military and unfortunately for me and my siblings when he divorced my mom we were also divorced, this left a lot of unanswered questions of pain and rejection, until now as a adult, he is just a stranger on the street to me, I have forgiven him and moved on to a happier place in my life, ( you see if you don't know love how can you show love, My dad could only go emotionally as far he was taught as a child ) Thank God when I started my own family, I broke the generational cycle and built my family up on love and a strong faith in God then one day , I personally met a man name Jesus, who spoke relationship to my heart, taught and showed me mercy and grace all while restoring all the things that was missing from my heart due to a absent parent and now I can offer this same hope to you! .

Lay Aside Every Weight !

Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,


I recently read in the local Daily Press newspaper about 2 Deacons coming to blows ( fighting ) in a Church business meeting, and one Deacon was armed not only with the Word of God but a knife also, that was concealed, no doubt he carried every where he went.

As Christians we do have the right to bear arms, make sure that " arms " is the Word of God which is sharper than any two edged sword....when we carry or possessed a gun, we set our selves up as a judge and jury, we don't have that right, Jesus said vengeance belongs to Him.

This really was a shameful story in the newspaper, all this over a parking space. These leaders sit under a mighty every Sunday, it seems some body is not listening, their age was 70 and 61 even more shameful as theses were Elders.

How can we effect or impact others when we let jealous, envy and strife reside in our hearts and allow them to take root, things that take root will bear fruit and manifest itself in a way that will embarrass you and put you to a open shame, now these two brothers are forced to appear before the unjust judge.

What they should have done was apologize , repent and move on and if needed seek council with their Shepherd, the Pastor of the church, all this behind closed doors, never allow a root of bitterness to take root in your life, shake it off repent, apologize to the offended brother/sister and keep it moving ....

there is too much work to be done in the ministry and too many souls in the earth that need to see a testimony not read about discord and strife in a local newspaper......

Let's rise up and walk in the light as sisters and brothers of Christ ! Putting off every weight that so easily besets us.
