Today is Palm Sunday, this is the day in bible history that Jesus came through town riding on a colt, Read Mark 11
the entire chapter talks of Christ entering Jerusalem , as he entered on the colt, the city spreaded their garments and other cut down branches from the trees and strawed a path for Jesus to enter on...
.as he came through the people cried out " Hosanna ; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord" the people rejoiced that day.
Beware of the pat on the back of false friends one day they praise you the next day they yelled crucify him.
put your trust in Jesus and every day will be hosanna, hosanna !
Put your trust in man and it will be short lived, for we are yet human... unable to walk in the spirit 24 -7 without Christ abiding,
we make mistakes and we will sin .
Thank God we can repent daily and trust God through his word to make us whiter than snow....
have a blessed Palm Sunday...rejoice ,
I say rejoice for your redeemer cometh ......

Happy Palm Sunday !
Happy Palm Sunday

Mark 11 (King James Version)
1And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
2And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
3And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
4And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
5And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
6And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
7And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
8And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
Everyone have a blessed Passion week , and Good Friday! may the blessings of Christ continue to be yours as we pause and remember the price Jesus paid for us on the cross...... because of Him we have a right to eternal life as we accept him into our hearts.

Happy Spring!

Today is the first day of Spring, after this winter we have had this change in weather is very welcoming,
thanking God the seasons are changing and breaking forth into opportunity, new mercies, new beginings, a fresh start for some and of course for some it also brings new upcoming challenges for us all,
but no matter what this season of life brings, I have come to remind you to keep on trusting God , for He made the heavens and the earth, the world and all it contains belongs to the Lord,
we are just temporally borrowing it.....don't get it twisted, I have never seen a u-haul following a funeral procession, so in all your getting get a under standing that we must acknowledge God in all our ways, especially if you want Him to acknowledge your prayers....You see, God made us so He has invested His unmerited love in us. He wants us to succeed, be blessed and prosper, but we must do our part too. We must invest in Him to ....
so this Spring , lets pray and trust God more, lets when we can start reading our bible and going to church , so we can learn about Christ and get in relationship only then will we be able to freely start treating our fellow man with respect, love and kindness , even when they don't deserve it. This is a learned behavior, that takes time, so lets start this Spring!
Also don't forget the unmerited grace God has shown us by dying on the cross for our sins, for that great act of kindness, I can never repay ,
but I will show the Love of Jesus in the earth every day.
....so have a happy blessed Spring, the birds are singing , so you get to singing too,
this is the day the Lord has made , so lets rejoice and be glad there in,
I am on twitter , face book, blog talk radio, and my space so if you need prayer or just a word of inspiration, please feel free to send me a message,
I am always available for the things and the people of God. We are all God's children given the opportunity to be saved by grace.

Prayer

Lord, Please make me a blessing.
I present myself to you, a living sacrifice, for ministry to the world.
I pray that I would see others through your eyes of love and concern and that I would ask myself "What would Jesus do?"
Please forgive me of the times I have been selfish or apathetic, for the times I have missed out on the opportunity to minister and be a blessing.
I pray for all the people in my family and community who need a blessing right now.
I pray for Christians around the world who need your hand of blessing right now.
Lord, you know the need. You are good, all the time.
I pray that in your mercy, you will will reach out in the way you know best
and meet those needs, uplift those spirits, bless those souls,
for your glory.
In Jesus name, amen.

Overcoming Fear

1 John 4:18-19 (King James Version)
18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19We love him, because he first loved us.
I am so proud of my cat Jerri, when we got her 3 years ago, she was a baby and was very fearful, wouldn't let anyone touch her but for a very brief moment, any noise , knock on the door she'd
book it up the stairs like a dozen dogs were after her and she was running for her life ! All you'd see was fur flying in the air ...
Hm looks like she had major trust issues to overcome. Thanking God today after a few years of taking time and being patient with her and loving, caring and brushing her, she has merged into a healthly relationship with the family,
Jerri has learned that every noise has nothing to do with her and she doesn't run anymore.
I was in the kitchen cooking breakfast, some oatmeal and I accidentally dropped a pot on the floor, well Jerri was sitting on the window seat looking out the window and where as she used to run , from any noise ....
She looked at me , I was expecting her to take off up the stairs.....well to my surprised, she looked at me , turned her head. And went right back to looking out the window looking at the birds....
Wow! Looking at this I reflected on my own life, we need to learn to completely put our trust in God knowing He cares for us as the Good Shepherd cares for the sheep,
Psalm 23 (King James Version)
1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
So friends just like my kitty we must learn every noise, styled as trouble or problems we do not
need to react to, we can just like Jerri keep being thankful for the Now and entrust God as the
Good Shepherd who died on the cross for the sheep to protect and take care of us, no matter
what noise ( problem, stress, bills, struggles) presents itself.. Rest in the Lord for he is the Good
Shepherd who watches over you daily as you daily commit yourself to Him and His Word.

Unacceptable Sacrifices
Malachi 1:
The LORD Almighty says to the priests: "You have despised My name!"
But you ask, "How have we ever despised Your name?"
"You have despised My name by offering defiled sacrifices on My altar!"
Then you ask, "How have we defiled the sacrifices?"
"When you bring blind animals for sacrifice--is that not wrong? When you sacrifice crippled or diseased animals--is that not wrong?" says the LORD Almighty.
The Jewish law required that every sacrifice offered unto God, must be without blemish. No lame, blind, or diseased animal would be accepted. It was an insult to God to bring to His altar anything that was maimed, blemished or worthless. Yet the people had been taking the best of everything for themselves, and then bringing the refuse--the blind and lame animals--as offerings to God!
Well, how is it with ourselves? The object in putting these verses in the Bible--was not to get us to condemn the people who lived twenty-three hundred years ago! It was to make us think whether WE are doing this base thing ourselves!
Do we give God the best of all we have--our best love, our best gifts, our best service? Or do we take the best of all for ourselves--and then give God the blind and the lame?
How many people in the church, when the collection plate is being passed, pick out the smallest bit of money--to put in the plate! We give our strength to our own work or leisure, and then have only our weariness to bring to God. We save our best things for ourselves, and then have only worthless things to offer our wondrous King! What kind of service are we giving to our glorious Lord?
The Lord's answer to the arrogant defense of the priests is startling: "Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that these worthless sacrifices could not be offered! I am not at all pleased with you--and I will not accept your offerings!"
What do WE bring to God--when we go through the forms of prayer, when we sing the sacred words of our hymn, when we make our offerings, when we sit down at the Lord's table? If there is only words, words, words in all our worship--no heart, no love, no real presenting of ourselves to God, no laying of our best on the altar--God has no pleasure in us and will not accept our offerings at our hand!
"Now these things occurred as examples to keep US from setting our hearts on evil things as they did." 1 Corinthians 10:6
