The inspiration for this blog today, comes from a personal experience, about 2-3 weeks ago, I had a partial knee replacement, well, across the knee is a long cut, with scar tissue, sometimes when I strive to walk, it feels like my new knee is trying to burst through and my stitches will rip open, the MD and home health nurse has reassured me that , this will not happen, yet I still have the sensation , feeling the pain with every movement I take, or every step I attempt to take. So walk with me as I share my thoughts comparing natural life with spirtual life ..
Are you being Stretched ?
In this life we will go through situations that just seem to stretch us, sometimes we feel as though the garment or skin we are in are just bursting at the seams, if you're like me you re always checking to see if you have burst out of your pants, ( and between you and I , I have had a few accidents and near misses! ) ((( Laughing ))
when you are going through a valley experience like this naturally , know in your spirit man , God is working it out for you ! He is better than Miss Poly and Miss Esther, ( the polyester sisters )Jesus is the real deal,
on the cross He stretched far and wide to be our one on one personal sacrifice as a atonement for our sins ...to redeem us, when we are stretched sometimes beyond measure by the sins of this life, not just continually , but His one time sacrifice wiped our sin stain for ever. This is His free will gift to all if we accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior today.
Exodus 7:5
And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
So the next time you are feeling stretched by what seems beyond measure, or feel like your health , employment, lack of employment, bills past due, telephone disconnect ?
Just plain waiting for your next pay check and if that is not enough or even worse , your wages have been garnished or been taken by the bank for a overdrawn account lien.
Know Jesus will never leave you or forsake you, just stretch out before him in prayer and watch the mighty hand of God stretch that next pay check, stretch and touch a heart to allow you a merciful extension,
watch God stretch your faith to rely totally on him !
My prayer for you is this :
" Lord be with your people, saved and unsaved we all belong to you, just as you care and provide for the sparrow, we know you will do even more, for the people , your only son died for! Open doors, open windows, cut open a door or a window if need be , for you have creative ability and creative power ! "
" You Lord are all that I need " and I thank you for what you are doing and what you are gonna do ! Amen !
